Alaska Airlines has announced a non-stop international flight to the airport from the west coast of the United States next summer. British Airways will begin non-stop services from Porto to London Heathrow five days a week from June 3, 2022, according to Alaska Airlines, Xinhua news agency.
The flight, connecting the West Bank cities of London, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose and Seattle, became British Airways' sixth service.
Finnair, Finland's largest airline, last week announced a new direct flight between Seattle and Helsinki, scheduled for three days a week starting June 1.
Finnair's ongoing services include existing services from Seattle to the capital of Finland, Los Angeles. The Finnish flagship will expand its service to four direct flights from Los Angeles and Stockholm in the week beginning May 1.
Alaska Airlines said that by the summer of 2022, Alaska's OneWorld partner will offer more than 100 stopovers from the West Coast to Europe each week, including direct flights to London, Madrid, Barcelona, Stockholm and Helsinki. Services are included.
