Thirumoorthy Hills

The only place in the world with a dam, hills, temple, gardens, and climate is Thirumoorthy. Water would be gathered from two sources, Panjalinga Aruvi and Kandoor Kalvaai, by a dam with a height of 60 feet. Most of the residents of the area around Tiruppur receive their drinking water from Thirumoorthy Hills. During the summer, Panjalinga Aruvi will keep the falls from drying out so that visitors can still enjoy the weather and waterfalls.

Dam At Amaravathi

The Amaravathi dam receives its water primarily from Chinnar. At Karur, the Amaravathi River merges with the Kaveri River. Typically, the dam's water is utilized to produce electricity and provide drinking water for a large number of residents in the Amaravathi area. It's quite relaxing to hang around here. People can relax in the dam's park there.

Chinnar

The town of Chinnar is situated between Udumalpet and Munnar. It's 37 kilometers to Chinnar from Udumalpet. The best time to visit Chinnar from Udumalpet is in the evening (4–6 PM), when there is a 70% chance of seeing an elephant crossing the road and standing nearby to sample the water.

Tourism at Thoovanam Falls in Udumalpet

The Thoovanam Falls are in the Forest region. It serves as the main supply of water for the 90-foot Amaravathi Dam. Thoovanam Falls provides the dam with 70% of its water. Here, you can plan a trip that involves hiking through the forest, as well as build a tent and spend the night with your special someone. Animals like elephants and others used to roam there. This is one of the perfect Udumalpet tourism locations, but it is also quite perilous and safe.

Amaravathi's Crocodile Park

Most children always look forward to going to crocodile parks. In Udumalpet, near the Amaravathi Dam, there is a crocodile park. You can choose your conveyance (your own vehicle, public transportation, or cabs) when traveling to Udumalpet in order to visit Crocodile Park. Small and large crocodiles can be found nearby in large numbers. Trees are seen all around the locations.

Kanthalloor Falls

It will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get from Udumalpet to Kanthalloor (60 Km). You must plan a path from Udumalpet to Chinnar and then to Kanthalloor. We are confident that you have never experienced anything like this. Before 1.5 kilometers from the falls, you must stop your car. After that, a short hike takes you to the falls. The walkable area is really something.

Udumalai Tirupati

Since 2018, the Udumalai Tirupati temple has been open to worshippers. It is a recently constructed temple with beautiful architecture in spite of its cramped spaces. Within the first month of opening, the shrine gained enormous popularity. Thousands of devotees typically gather in groups every Saturday to receive blessings from the Venkatesa Perumal. The building project began in 2016, and improvements are still being made all around the temple.
