The hot blowing winds of Rajasthan are famous all over India and the Mount Abu Summer Festival can be considered as an oasis in Rajasthan. Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan. Mount Abu summer Festival is the two-day celebration which is basically the feast of folk and classical music. Mount Abu Summer Festival includes folk dances, ballad songs and a thrilling boat race on the shimmering Nakki Lake. The festival also organizes many sports festivals that would conclude with fireworks. Travelers can enjoy Sham-E-Qawwali during the evening of Mount Abu Summer festival. This festival is celebrated in the first week of May every year. It is celebrated from 1st May to 3rd May. This festival is exclusively celebrated in Chuchuyimlang village of Nagaland by Ao Naga tribe. The festival is the auspicious time which is considered to perfect for getting married. The Ao Nag tribe celebrated this colorful festival with lots of zeal. The special rice wine is prepared and served on a special occasion known as Sangat. The animals are specially reared and slaughter on the occasion of the Moatsu festival. This festival is marked as the end of the planting and harvest season. This festival is similar to that of the Baisakhi and Bihu festivals which are celebrated in other states of the country. This festival holds prominence among the locals. During this time people of Mo community dance and sing to celebrate the harvest season. A huge bonfire is lit and the Ao Naga community members enjoy and the special food is served. This is another festival celebrated during May in India. The three-day festivity is celebrated to honor the birthday of goddess Hadimba. This is the main religious site for many rural areas located in Manali. Goddess Hadimba is said to be one of the consorts of mighty Bhima. Bhima is one of the Pandavas. Several villages take part in the celebration and the large fair is organized. The prime attraction includes shopping stalls, singing, dancing, and much more events. It is celebrated according to the Malayalam calendar. Thrissur Poorams main attraction is the grand procession with 30 elephants, more than 250 musicians, locals and much more.
