Highest Bungee Jumping Point 10,500 Feet Will soon Open In Manali

Adventure-seeking souls always want their adrenalin levels much higher than others. They want to try every time some more fun-filled thrilling adventure activities. Those who have traveled different Bungee Jumping points in the world and those who have not got the opportunity to get those places, then land to Indian as the world’s highest Bungee jumping point at the height of 10,500 feet above sea level, is opening soon in Manali. 

The world’s highest bungee jumping point at an altitude of about 10,500ft will come up at steep gorge near Marhi in Manali very soon. The opening of the highest bungee jumping point is the part of Government effort to give Manali a Unique selling price for the tourists and one more prime attraction to be added. The opening of this highest bungee jumping point at 10,500 feet will give tourists a much higher level of thrilling experience which they haven’t even imagined and experienced yet. 

Recently the opening of 350 km-long-sky cycling track at an altitude of 9,300 ft at Gulaba is another attraction for tourists. Gulaba is located below the Rohtang pass. 

As the site for the highest bungee jumping off the world has been finalized, the construction work will be started soon in the near future and the constructive work will be supervised by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (ABVIMAS). 

Col Neeraj Rana is the director of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (ABVIMAS). In an interview, he said that the jumping platform will be located at 182 meters (59ft) above the ground and it is the highest in Asia.  None other country is having bungee jumping site at this height.

Features of highest Bungee jumping site at an altitude of 10, 500 feet will have super amazing features. 

The whole project will be based on the latest technique which has been used by the USA and New Zealand till now. 

The purpose behind this project is setting up of longest or highest adventure activities. This site will make adventure sports more thrilling and will attract more and more tourists. 

The prime intention of the Government is to make Manali the destination for adventure sports around the world. The destination will be equipped with state of the art facilities too. 

The Government will also take measures in order to ensure the protection and safety of the environment too. 

This bungee jumping site is going to first and the only site in Himachal and the second one in North India. 

Apart from the World’s highest bungee jumping point at an altitude of 10,500 ft, the 570 m zip-lining is also developed at Gulaba. Both Gulaba and Marhi are located below the Rohtang pass and with the rigor’s effort of the Forest department of Himachal, they will be inaugurated soon. 

The best part is that the adventure sports activities introducing by the Forest department of Himachal is eco-friendly. Enjoying 570m zip-lining at Gulaba at 9,300ft will also be a thrilling experience. Both sky-cycling and zip-line are ready and will be inaugurated soon

Although Kullu-Manali is having other adventure sports activities, the absence of bungee jumping was creating disappoint for the adventure-seeking tourists. The major concern which was acting as a barrier in the introduction of bungee jumping site were high installation cost, the requirement of deep open gorge and safety concerns. 

Kullu-Manali is famous for paragliding, river rafting, ziplines, skiing, snowboarding, heli-skiing, river crossing, canoeing, climbing expeditions, trekking, rock climbing, rappelling, fishing, ATV rides, cycling, biking, zorbing and many more activities. In addition, these tourists can enjoy sky-cycling at Gulaba, while bungee jumping and zip-lining will be available soon. The only drawback is that they will not be available in winters where the area is covered with over 10ft of snow.

Earlier also the Manali offers tourists the cluster of adventure sports activities, just in case you thought that wasn't enough, you'd be pleased to know that the famous hill station is about to add another attraction to its exotic beauty- it will soon be home to the world’s highest bungee jumping spot having an altitude of 10, 500 ft. So this time get ready to have the most enthralling lifetime experience. Well, be ready to look forward to experiencing the real rush of adrenalin and get goosebumps and best is that all the imperative factors are taken into concern without compromising at any cost.
