Champa is famous for its beautiful destinations such as Khajjiar and Dalhousie. The deputy commissioner of Champa, in a surprise inspection of these towns, found the tourists not abiding by all security protocols. The administration warned tourists against misbehavior if they did not follow the common safety rules between the state and the center. The administration also distributed masks to tourists.
So far, the region has identified six tourist attractions for which warnings have been issued immediately. The state government is also ready to deploy additional police forces in Dalhousie to ensure tourists follow appropriate COVID behaviour.
New guidelines issued by the state government also require stakeholders to follow 'no mask, no service' rules and ensure social distancing. Strict action will be taken against violators.
