Indians can now travel Easy to Thailand with No Visa on Arrival Cost

Thailand is one of the most exotic locations for travelling and exploring the beach life and enjoying water sports. And to fulfill your desires Thailand awaits those Indians that wish to explore the country as it waives off visa fee on arrival for tourists from 21 countries including India. There is a two month open window from 1st December 2018 to January 2019 for travelers that wish to visit Thailand without worrying about the Visa formalities or the extra fees. They can avail the Visa on arrival policy.This is an initiative taken by the Thai government to boost tourism in Thailand as it shall waive off the 2000- baht fee for visa on arrival scheme for those staying in the Southeast Asian nations for a period of more than 15 days. Other 21 countries apart from India, where tourists can travel without Visa include Bhutan, China, Ethiopia, Fiji, Maldives, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.Tourists from the 21 countries including Indians can apply for Visa on Arrival at 48 designated immigration checkpoints that are open 24/7 and allow tourists to enter the country and stay for up to 15 days. For your convenience here are the details of this newly introduced policy.The Visa on Arrival service can be availed 24 hours at any of these international airports in Thailand:

Indian travelers shall require the following documents to avail the Visa on Arrival service:Long Form Visa But if you are willing to stay a bit longer to enjoy your holidays you can get a regular Visa from the Royal Thai Consulate General which is in three cities New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. You shall receive your passport will in 3 working days after your application is fully complete.The primary documents required for the long form Visa are as follows:
  1. Passport (with 10-year validity) with a minimum of 2 blank pages for official use.
  2. Three Passport size photographs. Make sure your teeth are not visible. If you wear eye glasses, you must wear transparent/white lenseswhile getting yourself clicked.
  3. Cover letter from the main applicant explaining the reason for travel.
  4. Visa application form, filled and signed by the passenger(s).
  5. If youre a businessman, a cover letter on a business letter head of the company stating your position and time of service.
  6. Last 3 months personal bank statements in original.
  7. Air tickets and hotel vouchers.
You also require an NOC letter from the person bearing your expense and his national ID proof.
