San Luis Potosí

San Luis Potosí is a city in the heart of Mexico with a population of more than 800,000. The metropolitan area is an excellent example of a Spanish colonial settlement, with its impressive cathedrals and spacious plazas.

Although the city is surrounded by arid landscapes, San Luis Potosí itself is a cultural center for the region of the same name. Zacatecas

Just a few hours' drive from San Luis Potosí is Zacatecas, a city that financed its impressive architecture thanks to the silver mining industry that thrived here. Zacatecas is located in a valley, and while traveling here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the hills. Zacatecas became an important religious nerve center under Spanish rule, and the old part contained no less than 15 Catholic complexes. Oaxaca City

Oaxaca is one of the culinary capitals of Mexico, with specialties such as mole (spicy sauce), empanadas and tamales originating from here. But in addition to eating delicious regional dishes, the main city of Oaxaca has quaint shops, ancient architecture, and festivities that emphasize the rich culture of Oaxaca. Most of the highlights are concentrated in the Centro and Reforma neighborhoods, with the Zócalo Oaxaca square and the Templo de Santo Domingo religious complex attracting the most attention. Oaxaca has lots of narrow and colorful streets that you can wander around for hours.

Taxco

Taxco - According to the Department of Tourism, one of the "Pueblos Mágicos" or magical towns of Mexico. A walk through the city soon reveals why Taxco deserves this honorable title. This colonial settlement has classic houses with orange tiled roofs, a prominent cathedral and extravagant silver jewelry. Its proximity to Mexico City makes Taxco a popular destination for weekend excursions and day trips.
