If you are in the US and Canada, there is no better place to go than the famous Niagara Falls. More so now, since Niagara Falls has almost frozen over due to the cold snap in the area, thus appearing like an image from some fairy tale.

Although visiting Niagara Falls may not be easy due to the restrictions imposed to curb the COVID pandemic, some photos of the frozen Niagara Falls have drawn attention on Instagram.
The frozen Niagara Falls border the United States and Canada and are too strong to be frozen, but the surrounding fog freezes in winter, wrapping everything near it in layers of ice.

A famous travel website also reports that water passing over Niagara Falls can also freeze, resulting in roughly 40 feet of ice sheets within one foot. When the temperature stays below zero for a long time, ice bridges appear that look like glaciers rising in the sky.
The temperature at Niagara Falls was reportedly between 12 and 30 degrees Fahrenheit over the past weekend.
Niagara Falls are a group of three waterfalls located at the southern end of the Niagara Gorge, stretching across the border between Ontario, Canada, and New York, USA. Horseshoe Falls, also known as Canadian Falls, is the largest of the three waterfalls. The smallest falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are located within the United States.
