With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases across the country, Himachal Pradesh has decided to impose a night curfew in certain areas. The state government will impose a night curfew in Solan, Sirmaur, Kangra, and Una counties from April 27 to May 10. The nightly curfew will run from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
The decision on the night curfew was made jointly at a meeting attended by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur; The Minister of Urban Development, Suresh Bhardwaj; And the Minister of Technical Education and Tribal Development, Ram Lal Markanda. Minister of Health, Ragab Seizal. The Minister of Forests, Rakesh Pathania, was one of the high-ranking government officials who attended the meeting.
The Himachal Pradesh government has also made the decision to make RT-PCR testing mandatory within 72 hours for those arriving in the state. Those who have not been screened, they will be asked to enter home quarantine or isolation at their place of residence for a period of 14 days.
On the other hand, you can also take the exam seven days after arriving in the state. When the test is negative, you can waive the remaining days of quarantine.
The COVID protocols will be developed and implemented by the Special Task Force during social, political, cultural, and religious gatherings. The task force will have the authority to take action against individuals who violate the COVID guidelines.
