People across the world are celebrating the International Yoga Day

The world is celebrating International Yoga Day today amid serene valleys and beautiful beaches. Yoga has become a global phenomena and is no longer restricted to India. In India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the celebrations in Dehradun accompanied with 50,000 volunteers. People from different countries, different backgrounds and different ages are participating in yoga sessions with their friends and family.The celebration began four days earlier in the USA at historic monuments which include the Capitol Hill. Further, in New York many enthusiasts came together at the Governors Island and the Manhattan skyline to participate in the International Yoga Day celebration. Lesser known sublime valleys of Chimgan Mountain and Charvak Lake were not left behind. Yoga enthusiasts were embracing the celebration with fresh air and natural beauty. In Beijing, yoga lovers were accompanied by others who performed yoga at the India house. The Japan Maritime Self Defense Force and Indian Naval Ship Sahyadri officers were seen performing yoga at the ship. The second most populous city in Israel-Tel Aviv also celebrated the International Yoga Day on a huge beach with colorful mats. There was a mass yoga session arranged in Hanoi where hundreds of yoga enthusiasts participated. Further, there was a mass yoga event arranged in Seoul, Bangkok and Durban. Yoga lovers turned up in large numbers and were seen practicing yoga in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Soldiers also practiced yoga at the army base camp in Leh. Amid the hectic and stressful lives we live, it become inevitable to avoid exercise. Science has proved that yoga help get away with stress and maintains a balance between the mind and the body. It helps in getting a flexible body and also helps recover from chronic illnesses. How are you celebrating today?
