People coming to Madhya Pradesh will soon be able to enjoy sky diving. For the first time, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department has decided to start Sky Diving facility with private partners. Its aim is to promote tourism and adventure. This information was given by a senior official.
Chief Secretary, Tourism and Culture Department, Sheo Shekhar Shukla said that the golden opportunity of sky diving in Bhopal and Ujjain can now be felt like a bird flying in the sky.
The Sky Diving Camp will be organized in Bhopal on 1st and 2nd March and will be held for the first time in the state from 3rd to 6th March in collaboration with Pioneer Flying Academy, Aligarh, Ujjain.
According to the report, camps will be set up near Raja Bhoj Airport and Ujjain Airport in Bhopal, where amateur tourists will get a chance to dive from a height of 10,000 feet.
Shukla said that till now those who want to enjoy sky diving will have to leave the country. He said that since this facility was available only in Narnal, Haryana, India, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is now offering sky diving to the tourists at higher prices with higher safety standards.
He said the aircraft used for sky diving has been registered with the Directorate of Civil Aviation.
