Permitting the Ram Leela and the Establishment of Durga Puja in Delhi

By admin.ngtraveller | Oct 15, 2020

Based on government order, permission to host any event will be granted by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) or a county judge only after a full examination of the area. Also, indoors, events can only be held with a capacity of 50%, that is, the number should not exceed 200 people. Also, for external events, the number of people permitted will be strictly dependent on social distancing rules.
Organizers must ensure that no one is allowed in without masks and that there are separate entry and exit do. Under the orders, each event organizer will be required to create a video of their event, similar to the sample video that district governors will share with them. The event organizers will send the event recordings to the management, after which a certificate will be issued stating that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Government of Delhi and the Government of India have not been violated.
DCPs and county magistrates will sign the affidavit to be delivered to the event which will allow in all counties and forward it to the chief of staff and indicate the status of the instructions.

The county judge will designate a contracting officer for each Pandal or Ramlila of Durga Puja. DCP will designate another Contract Officer for this district. Both officers will be delegated to ensure that stringent government-issued guidelines are met in these areas.
