Republic Day: Restrictions on flights till 24 January at Delhi airport

On January 26, on the occasion of Republic Day, the Indian Airport Authority (AAI) notified pilots (NOTAM) and banned the operation of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI).

Notam clarified that scheduled flights between regular airlines and regular airlines between 10:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. on January 24 will not be able to take off from Delhi airport.

As part of preparations for the Republican flight, flights from IGI airport will operate approximately three hours a day until January 26.

Regular scheduled flights from Delhi airport between 07:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:30 on National Day only.

However, scheduled flights will continue as normal.

Due to the Betting the Retreat event on January 29, scheduled and scheduled flights will not be available from Delhi Airport from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Notam said it would not affect Indian Air Force, Border Security Squadron or Indian Air Force aircraft.

Delhi Police say security arrangements for Republic Day celebrations have three stages and the party is always vigilant and actively involved in major counter-terrorism events, especially nationwide.
