Hot springs are all about the soothing water, the beautiful landscapes and much more calm over the hot tubs and jets. Natural hot springs are awesome and easily found across the world. Here is a list of some of the worlds best natural hot springs you must take a dip in.

  1. Pamukkale, Denizli, Turkey: This natural fountain known as the sacred pool or the cotton castle for the locals is found below the ruins of the Hieropolis. There are 17 tiered pools which overlook the beautiful city of Denizil and were created over centuries as the deposited layers of calcium carbonate cooled into white limestone.
 
  1. The Blue Lagoon, Iceland: This is the most famous hot spring in the world. It is one of the most picturesque lagoons in the countrys black lava fields. It is rich in sulphur, mineral salts and silica heavy mud. The 98 to 102 degrees Fahrenheit water is actually so good for your skin that the lagoon has its own line of skincare products and an onsite research facility which strives to use the water to cure many ailments. It also has a swim up bar and a restaurant.
 
  1. Termas Geometricas, Pucon, Chile: The hot spring is located at the bottom of a canyon in the heart of a lush Villarica National Park, the hot spring has 20 pools which are connected by suspended wooden walkways and it has matching changing huts, a caf, a fire pit and two cooling waterfalls.
  1. Terme di Saturnia, Saturnia, Italy: Located in the stunning Tuscan countryside, the springs were used by nobles back in the day. Today, there are two waterfalls and 98 degree pools with water that is very high in sulphur.
 
  1. Valley View Hot Springs, Crestone, CO: Situated at the foot of Sangre de Cristo mountain range, the hot springs are accessible by simmer and dirt path between 93 and 107 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives way to a stunning sunset and a star filled sky. This hot spring is an experience of a lifetime. There is a pool, sauna and cabins for rent which are all powered by geothermal energy from the springs.
  1. Yangpachen Hot Springs, Yangbajing, Tibet: The hot spring lies above 1476 ft sea level and is the highest on the planet. It offers mesmerizing views of the Nyaingen Tanggula mountain range and has three pools- two indoor and one outdoor, each filled with water cooled from the blistering temperature of 158 degrees Fahrenheit.
  1. Dunton Hot Springs, Dolores, CO: Dunton has six pools that range in temperature from 85 to 106 degree Fahrenheit and are bright red in color due to the combination of calcium bicarbonate, iron, lithium and manganese.
  1. Takaragawa Onsen, Gunma, Japan: Japan is very famous for its hot springs and Takaragawa is one of the most famous hot springs in the world for its scenic beauty. Surrounded by trees and mountains, the four outdoor baths which are located off a brook are said to be filled with magical waters that can improve blood circulation, relieve arthritis and heal cuts and bruises.
  1. Termas de Puritama, Atacama Desert, Chile: The Puritama Springs are surrounded by geysers and volcanoes. They sit at the foot of a canyon in the vast Atacama Desert.
  1. Deception Island, Antarctica: Take a dip into one of the natural hot springs and escape the Arctic cold. Each hot spring is surrounded by abandoned buildings, penguins and glaciers.
