Tourist Places In And Around Lonavala - Lohagad, Rajmachi, Goosebumps

By admin.ngtraveller | Dec 23, 2021

Rajmachi
The first fort is the famous Rajmachi Point, which is half an hour's drive from Lonavala to the hill. Snow is usually covered by rain and we found it. This old highway is a great place to take a bird's eye view and you can take some great pictures here.

Goosebump point

As the name suggests, it will hug you and it will work, especially when you climb high stairs. The highway was not visible from any side due to foggy during the day. Actually there is a railway line nearby, but this morning it was rarely seen. Eventually, several monkeys followed us back and forth and we reached our final destination

Lohagad

Lohagad is one of the oldest and most important forts of Maharashtra and has been ruled by several kings and families including Shivaji Maharaj. There are ancient huge caves in the area of the palace which are older than the fort. Unfortunately, the fort is currently closed due to the COVID-19 restrictions, but you can walk till the first gate - Ganesh Gate. It was an impressive first door and unfortunately we had to go back. The gate is not difficult to reach, the stairs are now slippery due to rain. Luckily, none of us slipped.

He opened the palace and I saw that he was definitely coming here. Until then!

Buddhist Caves

If you like Buddhist caves, there are things to see around Pune, especially the Bhaja, Karla and the lesser-known Bedse Caves. I have already made several videos for some of these caves.
