Deosai plains top the list of places among the breathtaking tourist's attraction of Pakistan. Deosai, in local Balti language, is called Byarsa, meaning summer place is the second highest plateau in the world after the Chang Tang in Tibet. It is famous for its flora and fauna. Deosai National Park is at an average elevation of 4,114 meters above the sea level. Deosai Lake or Sheosar Lake from the Shina language meaning Blind lake is in the park. The lake, at an elevation of 4,142 meters, is one of the highest lakes in the world is about 2.3 km in length, 1.8 km in width and the average depth is 40 meters.

Siri Paye is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 3.058m (10,032ft) above the sea level, located in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The average gradient is 11.2%, with some sections up to 15%. The Siri Paye has always spellbound the tourists visiting Pakistan as a green plateau on the top of Hindu Kush. The Siri Paye is a place engulfed with clouds and fogs, it seems that nature is playing peek-a-boo. The prime attraction of Siri Paye is small freshwater pounds., wild yellow flowers and horse riding.
