IRCTC to run Onam Special Bharat Darshan Train from August 15

The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will operate the Onam Special Bharat Darshan train from 15 to 26 August from Madurai. The cost of the 12-day trip is said to be around INR 12,000 (including GST). IRCTC to run Onam Special. 

It is said that the train will start its journey from Madurai and will cover Statue of Unity, Goa, Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Agra.

Passengers on board will have the opportunity to visit the famous Goa Beaches, Bum Jesus Church, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Indira Gandhi Monument, Teen Murti Bhavan in Delhi, Statue of Unity in Kevadia and Agra Fort. And the crown of two rewards. In addition, passengers will be able to visit the Charminar, NTR Garden, Golconda Fort, Lumbini Park or Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, IRCTC stated that visits to all places of interest will be subject to COVID-related restrictions and guidelines issued by respective state governments. Passengers will reportedly be able to take trains from Trivandrum Central, Madurai, Kottayam, Kollam, Ernakulam Town, shoranur JN , Thrissur, Kannur, Kozhikode, and Kasargod. Indian Railways has also advised passengers to strictly adhere to COVID-19 regulations while traveling.

In addition, the train drop-off points will be Renigunta Jn. and Jolarpettai, Katpadi Jn, Erode Jn, Salem Jn, Podanur Jn, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kollam Jn, Kottayam, Trivandrum Central, Madurai, Tirunelveli.
