Udaipur has imposed these restrictions since all 29 people in the Udaipur area of the city tested positive. 24 of the 29 who tested positive for the virus are students at a school for the blind. However, the good news is that of the 105 samples tested in the containment region, only 3 samples were positive. The Udaipur administration asked residents to stay home and officials were asked to provide basic goods and groceries.

The District Collector, in a meeting with the region's working group, asked hotels, tour operators, and airlines to exercise extreme caution in the coming days when dealing with travelers from the aforementioned states. Not only airports but also train stations and bus stations will be closely monitored in the city. Visitors to the city will also be penalized if they do not wear masks and maintain social distancing.

District Collector also said hotels cannot accept reservations and give rooms to visitors without seeing a negative report on Coronavirus. Yes, in the event that someone managed to get a room in the city, the city administration made it clear that the hotel should conduct the test for these guests, and the guest must stay inside the hotel room until the report becomes negative. In case of a positive report, the hotel must report the case to the medical department.
