Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimat is a place of worship in Kedarnath where the doors of the Himalayan temple are closed in winter due to snowfall in the area.

Gaud said the five-headed (five-headed) idol of Lord Shiva will leave for Kedarnath on May 2 on a flower-adorned palanquin from the Omkareshwar temple.
