Guinness World Records also shared a post about the remarkable structure of records. While sharing a video of the pool, they added that the pool at Deep Dive Dubai in the UAE is now officially open this week. It will primarily be an indoor diving facility for recreational and training purposes, with facilities for education and recreation. In addition, they explained that people could play chess and table football at the bottom of the pool.
As of now, the facility is said to be open by invitation only and will open to the public later this year. The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, an avid diver, was one of the first visitors and shared his experience via social media.
The temperature in the pool is kept at 30°C, which makes it comfortable enough to wear a slim wetsuit or a bathing suit.
Also, the indoor pool is built within an oyster-shaped building of 1,500 square meters, but the highlight of Deep Dive Dubai is undoubtedly the underwater pool city. Divers will reportedly be able to explore "abandoned" sunken urban apartments and play underwater pool in the games room. In addition, the pool is equipped with the latest lighting and sound systems installed inside the pool to create a different atmosphere.
The pool also has an underwater movie studio, with a media editing room located near the facility.
Now can it get colder than this Dubai is now home to the deepest swimming pool in the world.
