The Great wall of India

Have you seen the Great Wall of India? Yes, it is located in Rajasthan! A UNESCO World Heritage site, located near Udaipur, is a fortress called Kumbalgar. The stunning building is famous for its long wall in Aravali Hills. It is the second largest fortress complex in India, just after Chittor Fort.

The beautiful castle built by Rana Kumba, ruler of the Kingdom of Moar in the fifteenth century, is located at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level. It is now open to the public, so you can visit this wonderful place. The castle is 3600 feet high and 38 km long and covers a large area. An interesting fact about the fort is that it contains about 360 temples, most of which are said to be Jain temples. You will also find wells, palaces, gardens, and 700 cannons.

Upon reaching the wall, it stretches 36 km long and is said to be the second-longest continuous wall in the world, after the Great Wall of China. The huge wall extends through the mountainous landscape and gives a wonderful view of the castle. A great place for some photography. The fort was one of the main bastions of hope for the region's rulers in times of danger. However, it was breached once during its lifetime. Some parts of the wall are so wide, that eight horses can cross.

It consists of the famous Ganesh Temple which you can visit, and is considered one of the oldest temples. Moreover, there is a Shiva temple called the Nil Kant Mahadeva Temple, which was built in 1458 AD.
