The so-called world of books has witnessed tourism in Kashmir for over a decade. Sundar Railway registered 1,27,605 tourists in November 2021.
According to officials, only 6,327 passengers traveled to Kashmir from the current 127,000 in November 2020. The head of tourism in Kashmir, Dr GN Ito, told the media in November that there were around 93,000 tourists in October, and this is the first series in the past seven years that Kashmir has recorded the highest number of tourists.
He thanked the National Exhibition and various assistance programs to promote tourism in Kashmir as well as other programs to attract tourists to another pandemic.
About 21 films have been made in Kashmir. After the second wave, all the tourists ran towards the lake and from there the confidence of the tourists increased.
Several groups in Kashmir celebrated World Mountain Day (11 December), Christmas and New Year. Christmas and New Year help tourists in the valley.
