DTC electric bus launched in Delhi. check routes and other information

To tackle air pollution in Delhi, the nation's capital will launch its first DTC electric bus on Monday. Delhi Director Arvind Keriwal will open the first Delhi Electric Bus (DTC) at Indira Gandhi Godown this afternoon. Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gallot will also be present on this occasion.
The Delhi government has completed the e-bus route, which covers a distance of 27 km around the city. The electric bus is manufactured by JBM Auto Ltd.

50 buses till February:

Another prototype of the DTC electronic bus arrived at the IP depot. The prototype bus travels 27 km via E44 (IP Depot ITO, Safdarjung, Prague Square to Ashram). The Transport Minister said that more electric buses will be made in February this year. Gehlot said that about 50 more e-buses would be added every month.

A total of 2,300 electric buses are under construction. Of these, 1,300 are procured through DTC, the remaining 1,000 operate in cluster mode.

DTC Electric Bus Routes:

E44 bus will leave from Indira Prasad Depot from today (Monday). By default, ITO E-Bus, Tilak Marg, Mandi House, Brahmaba Road, Connaught Area, Jinpat, Rajesh Pilot Marg, Prithviraj Road, Orobando Marg, Safdarjung, Ring Road, Prague South Field Road. , Extension, Ashram, Bhogal, Jangpura, Gate of India, Supreme Court.
The prototype bus will help the Delhi government understand the battery life and other technical issues of the bus. Only after that more buses will run.

The Delhi government is gradually shutting down the bus stations by using electric bus charging stations. In addition, DTC will integrate electric buses with CNG to manufacture four "hybrid" buses. Subhash Godown, Rajghat Godown, Hasanpur Godown and Bawana. In 2018 Delhi government plans to increase e-buses and in future Delhi government will buy only electric buses.
