India has always been a magical destination for travelers. There are bucket dull of lists why to visit India. As India offers mind-blowing cuisine to a rich cultural history. But this time the reason is very distinctive to visit India. Kerala tourism has inaugurated the Worlds largest bird sculpture in 2018. Indian tourism had added one more prime attraction in Kerala. The biggest statue of the bird Eagle has recreated the magical power of the most loved mythological inspiration Ramayan. Jatayu has always been a symbol of sacrifice. As according to the Ramayan epic the giant eagle (Jatayu) fell while trying to save goddess Sita and fighting against the Ravan. The sculpture is dedicated to the Hindu Epic Ramayan. This is currently the biggest bird sculpture in the world. Mr. Anchal, an award-winning filmmaker, selected the project site as the place has some myths associated with it. The sculpture is in fact placed on the rock, 'Jatayupara', where the structure is based, is the place where the mythical bird 'Jatayu' fell after its wings were slashed by Ravan.The inception of the Worlds biggest Bird SculptureThe credit to this beautiful worlds biggest bird sculpture goes to filmmaker Rajiv Anchal. He said that that the idea to create such sculpture was in his back of mind for more than 10 years. When he was a student of Fine Arts College, he presented the model to the tourism department in 1980. They were impressed but not able to give the shape to this wonderful sculpture.

Religious feelings and the worlds biggest bird SculptureThe creator of the sculpture stated that according to him Jatayu died protecting a womans honor and that is what the sculpture stands for. People of all faiths will be coming to see it. My work is for all of them. For those looking for religion, there is an old temple just outside the compound. When you will visit the place, its not only having the biggest bird sculpture in the world. The area also offers so many interesting activities for travelers. The activities include rock climbing, rappelling, paintball, and rifle shooting. There is also an Ayurvedic resort nearby as well as the digital museum too. The area also offers 6D theatre. In this theatre, a short 10-minute film will be shown to the visitors depicting the tale of Jatayu. The Kerala State government has given the land for Jatayu Earth Centre for 30 years lease and spent INR 10.25 crore for infrastructure development. Two percent of the revenue will be given to the state government and it will be reviewed once in three years. The project will be handed over to the government after 30 years. The complex of Jatayu Earth Centre has the capacity to occupy 5,000 visitors at a time. The individuals can reach at the top of the rock from the car park via a cable car that has come from Switzerland and is installed there. The worlds biggest bird sculpture is an impressive concrete structure. The giant bird constructed out of the compacted concrete, except for the talons stainless steel was used.
