The best time to visit Rohtang pass is inApril or early May when you will find plenty of snow there. If snow is not your motive, then the best time to visit would either be in June, early July or September. Monsoon arrives around Mid-July and remains throughout August. In summer, snow point shifts closer to Rohtang top (near Marhi) while in Winter; when Rohtang gets closed; this spot shifts closer to Manali.AccommodationThere are no accommodation options at Rohtang. There are no hotels or camping sites in Rohtang. The nearest hotels are either at Manali or you may find a few guest houses en route; near Gulaba and Kothi.
