If traveling was free you would never see me again! I am a travel freak and wish I could just live my life exploring the world. We all want to go to unknown magical places to collect memories and add more magic to our lives. Here is the list of some of the most magical places in the world.
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, China
Once you visit this place you wont ever forget it. These floating mountains feel like magic. There are around 3000 pillars covered in dangling vines and twisted pines that rise up from the fog. You wouldnt want to miss this sight. Some people say that this place was James Camerons inspiration for his Hallelujah Mountains in the movieAvatar. To have an even closer view of these mistypillars, you can walk over the glass bridge newly built by the park authorities. The bridge has a length of 14000 feet that stretches over the valley. It is all so unbelievably amazing that you wont believe your eyes. You do not need to worry about walking over the bridge; it has been reported safe by the authorities.
Klevan, Tunnel of Love, Ukraine
These train tracks in Klevan, Ukraine are a perfect portrait view from the canvas of a painters painting. This tunnel is like an eternal point of positivity and love. Nature has used trees to form a perfect tunnel for the local train. It has been now developed into a perfect soothing place for walking around with your loved one. Take your true love down this railway track, and as the locals say, your wishes will come true. The train still works on these tracks at least three times a day, carrying wood so do not linger around for too long. But I will suggest, only go with someone special, do not waste this special chance.
Salar de Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia
This place is like God threw large diamonds in water and you wont believe when you see them. Actually these are salt flats near the crest of the Andes in Bolivia that appear like huge rocks and glitter during the night. . The Salar de Uyuni has the largest salt flats in the world, almost 100 times larger than the Bonneville Flats in Utah, and 10 times the size of New York City. They are the remnants from the several giant prehistoric lakes that dried out with the dinosaurs. It is likely that youre carrying a piece of the Salar salt flats with you right now in the form of your mobile phones because this is the place from where at least 40% of the worlds lithium comes from. And I suppose you all know that lithium is used in our phones.
Antelope Canyon, Nevada
This slot canyon in Nevada was once known to be the roaming ground to the Navajo Natives. The reason of its formation was years of flooding and rains, providing it the artistically crafted shape it has today. It is completely a photographers delight. If you are a person with creative interests you would never want to leave this place. It has so much to learn, understand and explore. It is almost mystic, as you would be lost in the magnificence of this place. You will have to be a little careful though as flashfloods still occur here and you may have to run in search of a higher place. But nevertheless, it is like a different zone on Earth. Brown vast lands of formations where you can endlessly spend time without any worries, away from the chaos of the world.
Red Beach, China
When the brown sand does not cover the land around the water, rather red plants all along the shore. That is what we call magic. Red Beach has vast lands covered in suaeda salsa plant, which gives it the color red. It is also a home to a large collection of rare birds. This protected wildlife area in Panjin; China has some of the rarest views for the travelers. Large stretch of red beach along with vivid species of birds, it is a travelers delight.
To Sua Ocean Trench, Samoa
To Sua might be the most magical and vast swimming pool you will ever see. The turquoise waters of this tropical swimming hole arise from the ocean currents through an underground lava tube. Seems astonishing but To Sua is a splendid beauty with a surrounding of lush plant life and unforgettable cliff top views. The perfectly blue water of this Samoan trench is 100 feet deep, and there is a ladder placed for you to go in along with dock, and a host of tropical fish. The ladder is available for diving and so you can brush up your diving skills. Once you are in there, it is your own paradise.
Cancun Underwater Museum, Mexico
You might just not believe that such a place actually exists. Classic cars and dedicated churchgoers are some of the sculptures youll find in this weird underwater museum off the coast of Cancun. It is the craziest imagination that someone could think of. And the credit for this weird but unique idea goes to Jason deCaires who crafted most of the 500 sculptures in this museum. The idea was to save the local reefs and provide an exciting view for the divers. Some of the statues are a bit spooky, but youll be fine if you arent the one who gets easily scared.
The Faerie Glen, Scotland
This is a fairy tale place, perhaps thats how it got its name Faerie Glen. You will see vast lands of green pastures, that you will feel have come alive from some story book image. It is so picturesque that Hollywood used it to shoot the fantasy filmStarduststarring Robert De Niro here. If you plan to travel with your family, your kids are going to love it and maybe would love to play hide and seek around the cone shaped hills.
Lake Retba, Senegal
The Lake Retba or Lake Rose is all pink and mesmerizingly beautiful. Wonder where the pink water comes from! This magic is created due to the presence of an alga that thrives in the Lake Retbas ultra-salty waters. When the sun hits the algae, it gives it a pink tinge. It is similar to the Dead Sea; the salty water will make you stay afloat for hours. You must surely make this a part of your travel list because pink waters are the rarest of rare sights.
Chocolate Hills, Philippines
The Chocolate Hills in Bohol, Philippines look like delicious chocolates during the dry season but the only problem is they just seem to be so. The grass covering these rolling hills turn brown, making it appear like a field of gigantic Hersheys kisses. No one knows the reason of their origin. But a local legend claims that it was a battleground for two giants, who made the place turn brown with mud by tossing huge boulders at each other.
