The sled hotel in Finland that will move with you unless you find your perfect spot for the Northern Lights!
Hotels all over the Nordic regions are going out of the way to offer an exquisite and exotic stay to view the beauty of the northern lights. After the huge success of the Glass Igloo Hotel which is located in Finland, we now have a Sled Hotel in Finland as well! Sounds intriguing, doesnt it? The hotel will make sure that you move to a perfect location for your stay as it is a mobile hotel and can move as per your convenience. These custom-made sleds are given to us by Off The Map Travel and will provide you will all that you need for a comfortable stay in between the Northern lights. In an interview Jonny Cooper, the founder of Off The Map Travel said, Away from any man-made light pollution, it is here that the wilderness camp is placed for the winter, giving guests the best possible opportunity to experience the Northern Lights and simply enjoy the silence of the Arctic plains.
There are three hotels here, for now, which are 6.5 feet tall, 15 feet in length and the width is 8 feet. The room comprises of a super comfortable bed, where you can tuck in with your partner. It can only accommodate two people. There is also a dining table, gas heater and external dry toilet which will move along with you as you search for the perfect spot. The glass ceiling will provide you with the perfect view to experience the northern lights within the comfort of your bed. But that is not all! For those of you who want to go out. There are all the tools required for your sled present in your sled room. From personal sled and snowshoes to your own sled, it has it all!The hotel will be back around January 2019.
