Route 1: Delhi to Leh via Manali

The route from Delhi to Leh in Manali is a route that will take you through many ups and downs. The journey is in two parts: the first part is from Delhi to Manali and the second part is from Manali to Leh. Before starting your journey, you can stay at a hotel in Delhi and have a good night's sleep. Most of you are on NH 1 on your way to Manali. The road may seem normal at first, but as you approach Ghanoli, the climb begins. Exciting views along the way are essential to your mountaineering endeavors. After passing through Manali, the road will take you to Rohtang Pass, one of the most popular weekend parades near Delhi. While walking this route, you will walk the highest motorable roads in India and see the entire plateau of Ladakh passing through the Lachulungala Pass.

Route: Starting from Delhi, you will reach Karnal, Mandi, Manali, Jaspa (via Rohtang Pass), Sarcho, Tanglang and then to Leh.

Route 2: Delhi to Leh via Srinagar

While traveling from Delhi to Leh via Srinagar, you can experience not only natural beauty but also some human creations. As soon as you leave Delhi, you leave for Amritsar, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. Historians and pastors often choose this route when traveling from Delhi to Ladakh. On the way you will find beautiful villages, war memorials, gurudwaras, monasteries and beautiful views. Be it the glittering Golden Temple or the lush green grounds of Sonmarg, you won't miss out on any of the attractions and places to visit during this trip. But remember, sometimes the roads can be really dangerous or dirty. So be prepared to face some troubles while enjoying the scenery.


Route: A journey starting from Delhi will take you to Amritsar, Srinagar, Sonmarg, Dras, Kargil, Lama Euro before reaching Leh.

There is no dearth of gas pumps in Srinagar. The next gas pump after leaving the city will be at Mangan, 32 km from Srinagar. For refueling at Sonmarg you will have to travel 48 km. Make sure to fill your tank at Sonmarg, because after 124 km you will find the next gas pump in Kargil. The next gas pump on this route is located at Mulbakh, about 40 km from Kargil.

When you finally reach your destination, you can continue to explore the city and its surroundings.
